Italy Schengen Visa Guidelines

Do I Need a Visa for Italy?

Italy is part of the Schengen Area. Participants from many countries may enter visa-free for short stays up to 90 days within a 180-day period. If your country is not visa-exempt, you must apply for a Schengen Visa before traveling.

Visa Purpose for Conference Attendance

The Schengen Visa allows participants to attend academic events such as ICKEM 2027 in Italy. It also enables travel within all Schengen member countries during the validity period.
